Looking back on the BizzMine Road Show - Part 1

The BizzMine Roadshow

To support the “soft launch” of BizzMine on the 27th of April 2016, we had scheduled a small roadshow across Europe and Asia. And looking back, it was a great decision!

Thanks to the great conversations with more than 500 people we received a lot of valuable feedback, which helps us to move forward with the roll-out of BizzMine. The BizzMine Roadshow gave us the opportunity to get in touch with a lot of potential customers & partners, press and even investors, although we have no plans for a next (external) investment round.

Antwerp Startup Fair

We started the BizzMine Roadshow with an exhibition at the Antwerp Startup Fair (Belgium) on the 4th of May, organized by Startups.be and the city of Antwerp. It was a smaller event located at the harbor of Antwerp, with only a few hundred attendees. This was the perfect opportunity for Peter (CEO) and Sibren (COO) to test their one-on-one pitches in front of a live audience. People expressed great interest in BizzMine and took the time to actively listen to our story.

InnovFest Unbound 2016 (Singapore)

Next stop was the InnovFest Unbound 2016 event in The Marina Bay Sands Expo in home base Singapore, on the 17th and 18th of May. Peter (CEO) and Victor (General Manager – BizzMine Asia) had their hands full, speaking to over 150 really interested people in two days. A great way to kick start the Asian stage of the BizzMine roadshow.

The Next Web (Amsterdam)

On the 26th and 27th of May, BizzMine had an exhibition on the Startups.be group booth at The Next Web Conference Amsterdam. Peter (CEO), Sibren (COO), Hiren (Director UK & India) and Alex (BizzMine Evangelist) had a lot of interesting conversations with the attendees and other startups. Collectively, we had the impression that the focus of TNW is more on the speakers and their sessions, making this event less exhibitor-oriented compared to the other conferences.

By the way; the speaker line-up was great! With superstars like Gary Vee (VaynerMedia), Jason Fried (BaseCamp), Werner Vogels (Amazon) etc.
On the last day, Peter (CEO) stepped into the small pitch contest, courtesy of Idea Hunt and won best pitch at TNW! The fact that the TNW organization named us as one of their 20 favorite startups, means that our presence was noticed.
Of course, we should not forget to send a lot of kudos to the great Startups.be team for their support!

Rise Conference 2016 (Hong Kong)

We ended the Asian stage of our first Roadshow at the 3-day Rise Conference 2016 - in Hong Kong. At the event, organized by the same people who are behind WebSummit, we had a “Beta” booth for only 1 day, but what a fantastic day! Peter (CEO), Sibren (COO) and Hiren (Director UK & India) hardly had time to take a breath! In excess of 150 people visited our booth in 1 single day. Needless to say, that it was a real success.

WebTomorrow (Ghent)

The finale was our presence on WebTomorrow in Ghent (Belgium), organized by Bloovi. A great opportunity for some members of our Customer Success Team and our R&D Team to get in touch with potential customers and to get a feel of the workflow market.

WebTomorrow

The whole BizzMine Team looks back on an exhausting but very exciting and rewarding month. It gave us a lot of traction and it was a great opportunity to meet a lot of new interesting people.

We hope to see you at one of our stops of our next Roadshow. Stay tuned for more details. Coming soon...
